The one thing to always remember

All right. What’s up, everyone. Welcome to the financially free musician podcast. So I’ve done one of these in a really, really long time. And that’s because of something that I want to talk about today. So it’s been awhile. Like, I don’t even really know what to say right now. You know, obviously, um, I talked about falling off the wagon that fell off the wagon a couple of times, but again, my whole goal with doing these is to show you that it’s not easy. And one of the things that I struggled with a lot, when I hear and look, you know, talk to gurus and teachers, educators, or people who are in a certain place of success is that, you know, they always, they always recap their stories.

You know, they talk about going back in time, like, Oh yeah, I started and it was hard and you never really get to see, I mean, you hear them talk about it, but to actually see the process of what they went through, I think is extremely eye-opening.

And that’s what I want to present to you guys as much as possible. So I really haven’t done anything since the last podcast it’s been months. I mean, life’s gotten away and I just, I just got in the way, you know, and the main point I want to make right now, my allergies are terrible.

The main point I want to make right now is that no matter how lost you are, unless you move forward, you’re going to be stuck in the same place that you are right now. Let me say that again, because it’s really, really important. I mean, I I’m in this place right now and I’m realizing this and no matter how many things I say, it always takes a certain amount of discipline to listen to myself and the things that I know to actually put them into practice in order to help myself as well. I’m no different than you.

Let me say it again. No matter how lost you are, no matter how much of a plan or path you do not have, right? You can’t see the path, you can’t see the plan. You’re trying to figure it out and your wheels are spinning. You’re looking all over. Maybe I should do this. Maybe I should do that. Well, I just don’t really know, but I could do this. I could do that. I think I’ll do this.

No, no, I can’t do that. Right.

Unless you move forward, unless you go forward, unless you take a step forward and do something, do something, anything you need to make that step, unless you do that. If, unless you make that step, nothing will change. And for me specifically, I think it’s really important because I’ve been trying to figure out the model that I want for this business and the model that I want for helping others in the education.

I have to offer through business, through my experiences with jazz piano school and what I’ve gone through through my love for motivation, inspiration. I haven’t been able to figure it out. I still don’t know what it is. I don’t know.
I don’t know what, like my, my calling in this is or what it looks like. And I, every time I think I know it doesn’t feel right. Like someone doesn’t feel right. And so probably for the past, I guess it’s been about four months. I haven’t even checked the date. Maybe six months.

I just been stuck in this place where I don’t know what to do. And you know, right now I finally, like, I finally realized that it took a lot. It takes a long time. It took about six months. And that’s why I’m doing these is that I’m so sorry for all the, uh, all the noises in my nasal cavity. But unless I actually start doing something and like trying things, or like putting my foot down in one place and then taking another step and then another step I will never get out of this place. I will never know what to do.

And I’ll never be able to move forward or find what I’m looking for. There’s no way to find what you’re looking for. Unless we take steps in certain directions. Now, granted that direction may not be right for us. And at that point, we’re going to switch paths, but we can’t stay in the same place. Because if we do that, we’re going to get the same thing that we’ve always got.

And we’re going to literally be in the same spot, getting the same thing, thinking the same things.

Right? So think about that because it’s, it’s been a real revelation, a real epiphany to me lately, just really harping on that, meditating with it, sitting with it. And that’s why I’m doing this podcast today. Uh, even admits the struggle that I’m having with my allergies. Cause I need to do something. I need to do something to, to test the waters and find it. Like, I just need to find it. I need to go out there and find it. And no amount of learning, no amount of like education, talking to people, talking to coaches, that’s that it’ll never get me to what I’m looking for.

Unless I take a step, unless me, I do something different. Like I take a step forward. You need to be the one to take a step four. And again, like it doesn’t, hopefully this podcast is the inspiration, the motivation, hopefully this serves as the vehicle to help you take that step forward, to do something like to just do something.
It doesn’t matter what it is.

Who cares if it’s not in the right direction, stop thinking about whether it’s the right thing for you at this time. Like stop thinking about whether it’s the perfect stepping stone to the perfect in the perfect path that you’re going to get there because that’s not how that’s not how it works. You know, we need to take many steps in many different directions to figure out what it is that we’re going to fall into or what it is that’s going to work. And the only way to do that is literally to take as many steps as possible and as many directions as possible. Yeah. I wish there were easier, easier than that, but it’s just simply not.

It’s really just simply not. I mean, the path to everything that you’re dreaming of, everything that you want, everything that’s your called and your soul to find is literally a scribble of lines that changes directions.
Hundreds of times, it’s never a straight path. So if there’s anything I want you to know today is that I’m in the same place as you more that like all the time, no matter what, and you’ll always be this way and it will never change. You’ll always feel like this.

Unfortunately, it’s just something we have to live with. I mean, obviously it’ll get easier, it’ll get better and you’ll get to a certain, uh, you’ll reach certain points that feel balanced and calmer, but this kind of calling will always stay the same. And hopefully this podcast can serve as a vehicle inspiration to help you take that first step forward.

And it may take a couple other steps and then maybe reassess and see what you need next. But the most important thing is to go forward, take that first step because that’s the only way to get out of the place that you’re in right now and make a real change in your life. All right. Talk to you later.
